We have removed over 800kg of rubbish from these beautiful beaches and are continuing to do so for the next two weeks.

There are still spots left for next weekend’s beach cleanup with accommodation at Beachcamp Eco Retreat on K'gari - Fraser Island. Grab a ticket while you can!

Our Caps Crusade program is going strong!
We recently had our first scheduled pickup from Brisbane and Surrounds Public Collection Points and received over 220kg of cleaned and sorted bottle caps. Such amazing work from all the collectors and schools who are involved!

The health of our oceans and marine life is at the core of everything we do at Ocean Crusaders. With bottle caps constantly showing up during our cleanups, we have made part of our mission to get them out of the environment and into useful products. We encourage people to collect their used bottle caps and drop off at one of our Collection Points for recycling.

Huge thanks to Olivia and Wendy who dodged the rain perfectly to pull 540kg of stuff out of Luggage Point. The water tank and several other large HDPE items were saved for #zeroco packaging in the future. Thanks to the Federal Government's Landcare program for funding today through #healthylandandwater

Our founder, Ian at the launch of the Automatic River Cleaner (ARC) today! This is an amazing leap in the right direction for Ocean Crusaders.
We are heading towards much for efficient and effective waterway cleaning strategies that will allow Brisbane's waterways to be cleaner, and will ensure that rubbish filtering through the waterways doesn't make it into the bay and the lives of marine creatures.

As always, as a consumer the best thing to do is limit your consumption of resources and plastics as much as you can! Every effort counts.
